  • Page 8 ASSEMBLY Stainless steel jug Place the lid on the stainless-steel jug so that the two small arrows on the lid and on the jug handle are properly aligned. Then turn the cover clockwise from the open lock ����to the closed lock ����until it is closed securely.
  • Page 9 Multifunctional blade and kneading blade The multifunctional blade is suitable for general use like chopping or mixing while cutting, while the kneading blade is recommended for kneading and gentle mixing with no cutting. Fix the sealing ring on the blade’s unit. Place the blade on the location provided on the base of the jug.
  • Page 10 To uninstall a blade: Hold the blade gently to ensure it doesn’t drop when released. On the underside of the jug, turn the plastic blade lock counter clockwise. Remove the blade carefully. Make sure it does not fall suddenly, as it may cause damage or be damaged itself.
  • Page 11 Measuring cup / Lid cap The measuring cup doubles as the lid cap, to prevent splashing and heat loss and is used to measure food quantity. The maximum capacity is 100 ml. Place the measuring cup into the lid’s opening, aligning with the grooves. Turn it clockwise to lock, or anticlockwise to open it and take it out.

  • Page 13 Large steaming basket The large steaming basket includes three parts: steamer body, steamer cover and internal basket. The capacity is 3.5L. Close the steamer with its cover before using it. Take off the jug lid and place the steamer on the jug, making sure it fits well.

  • Page 19 Heating power • During standby mode or operation, press this button to enter heat-power setting mode. The heat power icon will flash on the display. • Turn the knob left to decrease heat power and turn right to increase it, range from level 1 to 10.
  • Page 20 Install App Download the “Kogan SmarterHome” app from the Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS). Register If you do not have a Kogan SmarterHome™ account, register or sign in with a verification code sent by SMS. To register: Tap to enter registration page. The system automatically recognises your country/area.
  • Page 21 Set device in pairing mode When the device is first turned on, it may automatically enter pairing mode (the Wi-Fi icon on the LED display panel will be flashing). If not automatically in pairing mode when powered on, you can manually set the device in pairing mode by pressing and holding the Wi-Fi button on the display panel for at least 3 seconds, until the Wi-Fi icon starts flashing.
  • Page 22 Upon successfully confirming pairing mode, enter your Wi-Fi details. It is important that your SmarterHome™ device and the app are connected to the same Wi-Fi network during setup.   • Page 23 AUTOMATIC PROGRAMS The unit has 5 auto-program buttons: Scale Scale function Knead The knead program Steam The steam program Stew The stew program Temporarily override speed settings to maximum, Turbo for short powerful bursts. Note: The automatic programs are already programmed. However, some programs are available to adjust the temperature and time according to your desire.
  • Page 24 Adding ingredients after exiting the scale function and re-entering will not display the combined weight. It will only show the weight of the newly added ingredients and only whilst in the scale. Recalibrating the scale: Before starting this process, prepare three items that weigh 1kg, 2kg and 2kg.   • Page 26 Turbo This function is to let machine work at highest speed. During standby model, you can press this button for the unit to operate at maximum speed. Release the button and the machine will stop immediately. This function can only operate for 1 minute maximum each time. WARNING: hen the TURBO function is activated, the appliance could emit some big noise as it is working at highest speed.
