- Page 3 General With the KNX retransmitter you can extend the radio range of a transmitter from the B-Tronic range of control units. Under optimum conditions, the range can be doubled. The radio signal range of the transmitter can be extended to a maximum of five times that of the original.

When choosing a plug socket, please note that the VC5801B will optimally extend your radio network by locating it approximately halfway between the products for which you wish to extend the radio range. The VC5801B works best if placed at a higher level, e.g., on a shelf or on top of a cupboard.
