4. When you have entered the last number, push ENTER to advance to the next screen.

5. Check whether the displayed MMSI is correct, then press ENTER to store, or CANCEL to
backup.
6. Enter your MMSI again as a password check, then push ENTER to permanently store the
user MMSI and return to the MENU.
You can view your stored user MMSI at anytime by selecting USER MMSI in the setup
menu.

4-8-2 Maintain Groups

You can program up to three group MMSI numbers and associated Group names. Group
MMSI numbers always begin with a zero (0). You only enter the last 8digits of the group ID
number, the intial"0" is automatically entered.

4-8-2-1 Enter your Groups

Use GROUP MMSI to create, edit, or delete 1, 2, or 3 groups of people that you call frequently.
The entries within a group are stored in alphanumeric order. A group MMSI always has nine
numbers and always starts with 0.
A group name can have a maximum of 12 alphanumeric characters.
