2.3.4.4 MAC OS X

1. Go to System Preferences in your Dock and select Network. The
following panel should appear:
a) Click the TCP/IP tab, and then select "Manually" from the
"Configure" pull-down menu.
b) Enter your static address in the "IP Address" field, such as
" 192.168.1.10". You also will need to enter a "Subnet Mask"
(generally 255.255.255.0).
