The vehicle’s electrical system should not be subjected to changes and or additions to circuitry, appliances, etc. without consulting your dealer or Roadtrek for proper installation procedures. Failure to do this could result in serious safety issues or component damage. Changes to the electrical system run the risk of voiding the warranty.
The generator is located and accessed on the underside behind the rear axle of your vehicle. CAUTION: When launching a boat, using your Roadtrek, it is very important to know that a generator must not be submerged in water. This will permanently damage the generator. If you cannot launch without submerging the generator, an alternate method would be to use a boat launching service.
Refer to the Chevrolet’s Owner’s Manual for complete operation instructions. WATER HEATER : The Roadtrek is equipped with a water heater. The water heater operates on propane, but does require 12V power for the electronic circuitry. Please refer to the Suburban Owner’s Manual for complete operation instructions.
Do not check the oil level when the generator is running. The propane fueled generator (Roadtrek RS Adventurous model) does not have the same exercising demand or altitude adjustment. Avoid starting the generator while the vehicle engine is running. This (DC) load could trip the fuse in the auto battery circuit if charge demand is high.

It is very important that the Dealer complete the Roadtrek Motorhomes Inc. Limited Warranty Registration, (at the bottom of the “QualityCare” Pre-Delivery Report) on each Vehicle and fax it to Roadtrek within 48 hours from the date of retail delivery. Roadtrek Motorhomes uses the information on the Limited Warranty Registration 1.
Chevrolet dealer. See the General Motors Warranty Information booklet for details. Such items are not warranted by Roadtrek. Roadtrek will pay for the removal and reinstallation of motorhome components necessary to perform automotive recalls and warranty for 36 months or 36,000 miles, (in US) or 60,000 Km, (in Canada), which ever occurs first, from date of purchase by the first Purchaser.
Canada or Canada into the US. In-transit (travel) repairs are still warrantable per the terms of the Limited Warranty Policy. This warranty shall be fulfilled at a Roadtrek Motorhomes Dealer or authorized Roadtrek repair facility. For in transit emergency repairs, you may choose to deal with a non-authorized RV service facility. However all warranty repairs at non-authorized RV service facilities must be preauthorized by Roadtrek Motorhomes.

Roadtrek Motorhomes Limited Motorhome Warranty is void unless the following conditions are adhered to: 1. Warranty Card on Vehicle must be completed by the Dealer and faxed to Roadtrek within 48 hours of date of retail delivery. When warranty applications are made and Warranty Card is not on file at Roadtrek,, reimbursement of claim will be delayed until proof of original purchase is submitted to Roadtrek.
