Changing your phone settings

Enjoy the freedom of adapting your KM710 so
that it works in a way which suits you best.
Press or and select
from the list below:
Date & time - Adjust your date and time
settings or choose to auto update the time
when you travel.
Language - Change the language of your
KM710's display.
Display - Change your screen settings.
Shortcut - To change the functionalities of
4 Navigation keys.
Touchpad - Turn the touchpad vibration
On or Off.
Connectivity - See Changing your
connectivity settings for more information.
Call - See Call settings on page 21 for
more information.
Security - See Changing your security
settings on page 53 for more information.
Flight mode - Switch the fl ight mode On
or Off. You will not be able to make calls,
connect to the Internet, send messages or
use Bluetooth when Flight mode is
switched on.
Power save - Choose to set the power
saving option Always on, on for Night
only or Off.
Reset - Reset all the settings to their
factory defi nitions.
Memory status - See current status of
the memories (Common, Reserved and
SIM card) in your KM710.

Changing your connectivity settings

Your connectivity settings have already been
set up by your network operator, so you can
enjoy your new phone from the off. If you
want to change any settings, use this menu.
Press
Connectivity. Your options are:
Bluetooth - Set up your KM710 for Bluetooth
use. You can adapt your visibility to other
devices or search through devices you're
paired with.
Network - Your KM710 connects
automatically to your preferred network. To
change these settings use this menu. You can
also attach GPRS and add new access points
using this menu.
USB connection mode - Choose Data
service and synchronise your KM710 using
the LG PC Suite software to copy fi les from
your phone. If you have a memory card
inserted select Mass storage to use your
phone in the same way as you would a USB
