4.1 Starting / exiting Pannoramic® Scanner Software for research
control software
4.1.1 Starting Pannoramic® Scanner Software for research control software
To start the program, double-click on the program icon on the desktop or start it from Start
menu \ Program Files \ 3DHISTECH \ Pannoramic Scanner Software for Research.
Before software initialization the user interface is opened, and the mode selection icons are
displayed. These three buttons represent Microscope and Planner scanner modes, and the
Service mode.
Microscope mode
•
for digitization of individual slides
•
set scanning profile of the slide
•
use Live microscope
Planner mode
•
plan the entire scanning procedure
•
assign one or more profiles to each slide
•
define Brightfield and Fluorescence or mixed scanning mode within a run
•
define scanning profile to slides included in racks or trays
•
automated scanning mode
Service mode
•
service password
•
camera settings
•
image compensation
•
barcode settings
•
microscope control
4.1.2 Exiting Pannoramic® Scanner Software for Research control software
To exit the software, Click X at the main window header to close the program. Note, that
when exiting the software, the loaded slide will be automatically unloaded.
