CCEI Limpido Z2 v1.0 The electrolysis cell As an essential component of your system, the cell is equipped with electrodes consisting of titanium with ruthenium treated plates. It is specially designed to guarantee a large lifespan and limit maintenance operations.

CCEI Limpido Z2 v1.0 START-UP NB: ONLY REGULAR ANALYSIS ENABLES THE RIGHT CONFIGURATION OF THE APPLIANCE Carefully following the stages below will guarantee a problem-free start-up. SALT LEVEL CONTROL Limpido Z2® is designed to operate with a water conductivity corresponding to a salinity rate between 1.5g/l and 3,5g/l at 25°C.
  • Page 7 CCEI Limpido Z2 v1.0 ONTROLLING THE AND THE At the time of installation, you are advised to test or commission a specialist to test the TAS (Total Alkali Strength) and/or the TH (Total Hardness) of the pool water. The two measurements are generally close to each other and are more often than not expressed in French degrees (°F).

Temp. ↓ The current temperature is lower than the minimal set temperature in the electrolysis menu. No treatment below this temperature.

  • Page 11 CCEI Limpido Z2 v1.0 With this menu you can set the current production level. It is set default at 80% and it is possible to set this value between 20 and 100%. ATTENTION The nominal value is 80%. To set it at a greater value will enable to produce more chlorine but will at the same time reduce the lifetime of the cell (increase of the areal current density).

CCEI Limpido Z2 v1.0 AINTENANCE OVER WINTER In winter, weather permitting, the treatment can be maintained by considerably reducing frequency. An 8-hour filtration cycle every fortnight is sufficient in most cases. However, it is vital to continue to monitor the salt rate to preserve the cell operating in water which is under- salted to an excessive degree (<2g/l).
  • Page 13 CCEI Limpido Z2 v1.0 There can be several reasons of a point of 0 shift: - The electrolyte may have been polluted by liquid entering the sensor - Polluted junction - Probe used in an installation with leakage currents caused by a bad earth electrode (In this case, regeneration is pointless).
