    8.3 Connection Steps 1. Connect PC 1 with one USB-C cable. 2. Connect PC 2~4 with DisplayPort cables and USB-A to USB-B cables.
  • Page 17 3. Connect external mouse and keyboard to KVM's keyboard and mouse input port. Tips: For the normal service of hotkeys, we recommend you use the full-key external keyboard with a separate [Scroll Lock] key (as shown above). 4. Connect an USB 2.0 device to KVM's standard USB 2.0 port.

    9. Function Description 9.1 Display Mode Description The traditional dual monitor KVM switch needs to connect two cables to each input device for the normal use of the dual monitor function. But our DP(MST)&USB-C KVM Switch support Multi-Stream Transport(MST) mode allowing dual DisplayPort displays from a single DisplayPort source.

If your devices do not support DisplayPort MST, there will be only 1 monitor to display even if you have connected 2 monitors to the KVM Switch. 2. Up to now, devices running Apple’s Mac OS operating systems do not support DisplayPort MST mode.
  • Page 23 Single Stream Transport mode: When you only connect 1 DisplayPort display to any output port on this KVM Switch, you can also get the resolution up to 4K@60Hz. Operation method Ÿ Connect DisplayPort port input devices and 1 monitors to any one of the display port on the KVM, the display mode will enable SST mode automatically.

    9.2 EDID Emulator DP(MST)&USB-C KVM Switch with EDID emulators in each input port, can keep PCs always having correct display information. And the KVM will maintain EDID before and after switching, ensure that the window you open stays in the fixed place. The DIP switch can enable or disable EDID emulators.

    9.3 Auto Scan mode Auto Scan can automatically switch the display at regular intervals between the input devices that are powered on and connected to the KVM. As a result, any input devices connected to each port can be monitored without user intervention. Auto scan mode is off by default.

    10.3 Keyboard Hot Keys Use external keyboard hot keys to switch the input devices. à Tips: The keyboard hot keys can only work with the external keyboard correctly connected to the keyboard and mouse input port of the KVM. For the use of hot keys, we recommend you use an external keyboard with a separate [Scroll Lock] key.
