– By turning -arrow- the setting elements -4- (Does not apply to
the element with screw -1-) the headlamp is moved and is also
fitted to the surrounding body parts as a result.
– Then tighten fixing screws -1- and -2-.
– Swivel the bottom part of the headlight as far forward in the
direction of the bumper as possible and tighten screw -3-.

Setting the headlight beam

Use a headlight beam setting device for setting the headlight
beam. Specified values, setting elements, conditions and meas‐
urement ⇒ Maintenance ; Booklet Karoq .
1.4 Removing and installing the front left
turn signal bulb -M5- / -M7-
Applies for the Halogen headlight.
Caution
Do not touch the glass when installing the light bulb. Your fin‐
gers will leave traces of grease on the glass which then evap‐
orate when the bulb is switched on causing it to cloud.
When installing the cover, pay attention to the correct fitting.
Water ingress destroys the headlight.
Removing
– Remove cover for headlight -2-.

Tightening torque
3.5 + 0.5 Nm
