– Remove panel -1- and heating and air conditioning system
-2- ⇒ Heating, Air Conditioning; Rep. gr. 87 ; Control and
display unit; Removing and installing control and display unit .
– Unclip and remove the switch unit -3- by levering upwards and
downwards and with pressure from the rear, top and bottom.
– Release and remove plug connections.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
2.7 Removing and installing hazard warning
lights button - E229-
The warning light switch - E229- is integrated into the switch unit
with the other switches

2.8 Removing and installing button for seat
heating -E653- / -E654-
The buttons for the front seat heating are integrated in the controls
for the heating and air conditioning system ⇒ Heating, Air Con‐
ditioning; Rep. gr. 87 ; Control and display unit; installing and
removing control and display unit .
2.9 Removing and installing the glove box
light switch - E26-
Removing
– Open the glove compartment in the dash panel on the front
passenger side.
– Push to release tabs on the sides of the glove compartment
and tip the glove compartment out of the dash panel on the
front passenger's side.
– Completely open the cover of the glove compartment in direc‐
tion of arrow -B- so that the gear rack -2- moves out of the
damper part-1-.
– Remove switch -1- with damper part from the mount in the
direction of arrow -A-.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
2.10 Removing and installing mirror adjuster
switch -E43- / -E168-
Removing
– remove handle recess from door trim
