When music becomes weak or distorted, charge battery The iP48 comes with a rechargeable lithium ion battery for portable use when the unit is not connected to AC power. The first time you connect the iP48 to AC power, keep it connected for several hours to fully charge the battery. - Page 7 4. Do not place in trash. The backup battery is included. If the Backup Battery Low Icon (located on the upper left of the display) is flashing, it is time to replace the backup battery.
