Sweep Mode

The Sweep operation mode is used to view and setup an RF output that can be swept up or down
between the start and stop frequency points with a user-defined number of points and dwell time
Sweep Direction - The number of steps to use in the sweep. output frequency of the generator is
adjustable from GHz down to mHz resolution.
Sweep Point Count - The number of steps to use in the sweep is viewed and entered here.
Trigger- The sweep trigger can be selected for Free Run, Ramp, or Point triggering.
Sweep Dwell - The dwell is viewed and entered here and controls the time to remain at each step in the
sweep after initial settling.
Start Frequency - The frequency to start the sweep at is adjustable from GHz down to mHz resolution.
Stop Frequency - The frequency to stop the sweep at is adjustable from GHz down to mHz resolution.
RF Out - The RF Output state can be toggled ON or OFF. There is an LED indicating the state.
Sweep Run – Sets the state of the sweep. When set to Run, the sweep is moving through each
frequency step based on the trigger setting and continues to run until set to Stop.
NOTE: The RF Output state is independent of the sweep state. The sweep may progress
while the RF output is turned OFF.
