14 RESETTING DIGIGATE TO FACTORY SETTINGS

Note: Following these instructions will result in all data being deleted from your digiGate and all settings being reverted back to
factory standard settings. Resetting digiGate is irreversible and should be done with caution.
1. Shutdown your digiGate using the web app. Instructions on how to do this can be found in section
14.3.6.5.
2. Switch off your digiGate at the plug.
3. Switch off the power to the device you are controlling if your digiGate is switching a mains powered
device such as outdoor lights or a water feature. This is not necessary for gate or garage devices.
4. Insert the spare switch cable into terminals 3 and 4, as shown in the diagram below.
5. Switch on your digiGate with the reset cable connected and the reset process will begin. Please wait
approximately 1 minute with the cable connected for the process to complete. You will hear the digiGate
beep 5 times once the process has completed. The digiGate will then bootup and you will hear the bootup
tone.
6. Unplug the reset cable currently plugged into the digiGate after you hear the startup beep noises.
7. All data will now have been removed and your digiGate will be reverted back to factory settings.
Note: If you have any issues resetting your digiGate, please contact us at support@digiGate.co.uk and we will be happy to assist
you.
