The Host Diagnostics selection allows you to view the network card receive and
transmit message counts and error tallies. It also allows you to initiate limited
diagnostic functions such as, clearing receive/transmit tallies and to start/stop
diagnostic messages.
To operate the Host Diagnostics do the following:
1. At the Network Topology Report Window (Figure 3-25) or the Network
Attendance Report Window (Figure 3-26), press Host Diagnostics. After you
press Host Diagnostics, the Network Diagnostics Window (Figure 3-27) is
displayed.

To clear tallies, press Clear Tallies.

To stop messages, press Stop Messages.
4.
To start messages, press Start Messages.
The Touchscreen selection allows you to access the touchscreen calibration
function. To calibrate the touchscreen, perform the following steps:
Caution: There is a thin sensing layer on the surface of the touchscreen.
When pressing the screen, be careful not to crease this layer with
your fingernail or any other sharp object. If this layer is creased, the
touchscreen may not function properly.

At the Service Menu (Figure 3-21), press Touchscreen.
After you press Touchscreen, a Touchscreen Calibration Warning Window is
displayed. This window warns that annunciation of network events is disabled
during the touchscreen calibration process.
