DESCALING

STARTING THE DESCALING

1. Fill the tank halfway with hot tap water and add
two packets of A7417 CalcOff. Insert the water
tank and wait until the water base is full.
2. Start the descaling mode by pressing and holding
the output regulator for 3 seconds until the "CL"
symbol is flashing on the display.
3. Briefly press the output regulator once. The dura-
tion of descaling is displayed.
4. Change the duration of descaling as needed us-
ing the output regulator.
5. Briefly press the output regulator again to start
the descaling process.
The appliance then descales itself automatically.
The remaining duration of descaling is shown on
the display. During the cleaning process, this icon is
also shown:
After descaling has finished, the cleaning symbol on
the display goes away automatically.
Then a flashing symbol indicates that the water in
the appliance has to be replaced:
6. Change the water in the water tank and in the
water base.
The symbol will automatically go out as soon as the
water has been replaced.
