To switch on the password security system:
From the main on-screen menu press
SETUP OPTIONS
Select
Move the menu bar over the
SPACE BAR
Press
ESC
Press
to quit from the menu.

3.3 Setting an ADMIN password

The LINDY CPU Switch Dual MP supports up to 16 user profiles. The administrator
of the system can grant or deny users access to any of the connected computers and
has complete control over the setup of the system. The administrator accesses the
system via a special user named ADMIN. This profile may not be altered or deleted
from the system and has full access rights to all computers and system parameters.
Consequently it is advisable to set a password for this user.
To set a password for the ADMIN user:
From the main on-screen menu press
EDIT USER LIST
Select
Move the menu bar over the

Make sure that the password you want is displayed.

You will now see the "Edit Access Rights" menu. The ADMIN user always has
access to all the computers. Press

3.4 Creating and editing user accounts
To create user accounts:
Ensure that you are logged on as the ADMIN user.
From the main on-screen menu press
EDIT USER LIST
Select
INSERT
Press
to add a new user.
Type in the name of the new user and press
