a. Place new battery in correct location on battery tray.
See Figure 23.
b. Secure battery to battery tray7 with battery strap
clamp. See Figure 23.
c. Connect battery cables.
d. Install side plates on each side of battery compart-
ment, making sure brackets and bumpers hold plates in
place. See Figure 23.
e. Close top plate.
f. Install knob in hole on top plate and turn clockwise to
tighten. See Figure 23.
g. Connect battery connector and turn lift truck power
ON.
5. Make sure the weight of the replacement battery is within
the maximum and minimum weights shown on the name-
plate.
