Diagnostics and Fault
Codes
NOTE: The dash indi-
cator will display the
code: EP 107 (or a
higher number) for 1 to 2 seconds every time
the key switch is turned to the ON position. This
code represents the EEPROM software version
and DOES NOT INDICATE A FAULT CODE.
Item
A combination hourmeter, battery state of charge, and fault indicator is available as
an option for this lift truck and includes a diagnostic fault code display. The hourme-
ter continually displays total operation hours when the key switch is in the ON posi-
tion and in drive or lift mode. Periodic maintenance recommendations are based on
these operating hours. The battery indicator has a LED display of state-of-charge.
As the battery's state of charge decreases, successive LED's dim.
At 70% of discharge an LED will flash, indicating "energy reserve", and the horn will
sound three times very quickly, indicating that the battery needs to be charged.
At 80% of discharge, lift is disabled and the horn sounds when the lift button is
pressed. Both bottom LED's will alternately flash, indicating "empty." The battery
MUST be charged. Continued operation with the LED's flashing can damage the
battery, motors, or the contactors. The system will automatically reset when a
charged battery is connected.
The discharge indicator is programmed for use with a flooded cell battery. Refer to
the maintenance manual for use with a maintenance-free battery.
