Installing the Instrument

IM 703753-01E
The operating environment of the FB200C/FB200L is described below. Always operate
the instrument within the range specified. The figure below shows the temperature and
humidity range.
To maintain the adequate performance over a long period, apply as little vibration and
shock as possible even if they are within the specifications.
Applying a voltage exceeding the maximum rating (–0.3 to +6.5 V) to the power supply
will damage the circuit. Do not apply excessive voltage to the power supply.
• Ambient Temperature and Humidity
Ambient temperature: 0 to 60°C
Ambient humidity: 5 to 85% RH, no condensation.
Note
To obtain highly accurate measurements, operate the instrument in the 23 ± 5°C temperature
range.
Condensation may occur if the instrument is moved to another place where the ambient
temperature is higher, or if the temperature changes rapidly. In such cases, allow the
instrument adjust to the new environment for at least one hour before using the instrument.
• Do not install the instrument in the following places:
In direct sunlight or near heat sources.
Where an excessive amount of soot, steam, dust, or corrosive gas is present.
Near high voltage equipment or power lines.
Where the level of mechanical vibration is high.
On an unstable surface.
