Frequently Asked Questions

What happens to the digital clock if contact with the NTP server is lost?
The digital clock will rely on an internal quartz oscillator for keeping the time until time data is received.
The clock will drift by a few seconds each year while communication with its accurate time source has
been lost.
How do I take advantage of the 3200/3300 chronograph functions?
The Chronograph functions can be engaged with the optional Elapsed Timer Control Panel accessory
(part# SBD-ELT-001-0), or by using a dry contact closure with the configurable user inputs (3300 only).
Refer to the respective selections of this manual for setup instructions.
If a change is made on the web interface, does it affect one IP clock or all of them?
The web interface allows the user to adjust settings for only one IP clock.
If a user wishes to apply the changes from one web interface to all clocks on the system, they may do so
through the IP monitoring software.
What type of cable is used for PoE?
PoE is typically carried through a CAT5, CAT5e, or CAT6 network cable.
When I power my clock, it seems to be running a test instead of showing the time. What is
it doing?
Immediately after power up, the digital clock will run an LED display test to allow the user to confirm that
each segment of the display is functioning properly. This should only last a few seconds.
What is the default password for the web interface?
The default user password is 1111. The default technician password is 6063.
