- Page 3 WARNING: Do not use with gasoline, petrol, or fluids with a flash point below 100° F (38° C). To prevent injury, always disconnect the power source when installing or servicing an electrical product. Always use the fuse amperage rating specified for your pump model. Failure to do so may cause serious personal injury or fire hazards.
- Page 4 INSTALLATION The electrical installation of the pump must include a protection fuse which is properly rated as indicated on the motor label. Warranty expires if a fuse is not utilized. Electrical wire size should depend on the distance between the pump and battery supply. The use of undersized wire may cause overheating of the electrical wiring and subsequently cause a fire hazard.
- Page 5 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 1. If the engine is cool, run the engine for 5 minutes to raise the temperature of the oil to a maximum of 120 F. Before attempting to remove oil, shut off the engine. Increased oil temperatures should allow for better flow, and reduce amperage load on the pump/motor during use.
