LED Indications

Each 86498-95 or 86418-6X paddleboard module provides two LEDs per each of
its four ports to provide a visual indication of the port status. Their function is as
follows:
Green "LINK" LED:
Steady on indicates:
Flashing indicates the normal ingress or egress of packets.
Off indicates:
Amber "ALERT" LED:
Off indicates that the port is enabled and none of the problems
listed below are detected.
Steady on or flashing indicates that the port is enabled and
experiencing:

Note: Occurrence of any of the above errors will cause the
ALERT LED to light for 500 ms. If during this time no new alert
condition has been observed, the LED turns off.
Double-Winking indicates that the port is disabled.

RJ-45 port:
Link pulses are received.
Optical port: Port is idle and valid optical level received.
RJ-45 port:
No link pulses received.
Optical port: Invalid optical level received or no link pulses
(if port is enabled).
Late collisions (applicable to RJ-45 ports only),
Excessive collisions (applicable to RJ-45 ports only),
Invalid optical level received (applicable to optical ports
only),
Reception of bad frames (CRC errored),
Reception of "illegal-length" frames (>1632 bytes, or those
with an "alignment" error), or
Inability to output traffic
