The underside of the service cover features ten metal catches on the front, left and right sides to hold the service cover securely in place.

Due to the limited lifespan, Kontron recommends checking the condition of installed expansion devices regularly and to pay attention to the manufacturer’s lifespan specifications.

Lower the service cover to rest on the main chassis. Slide the service cover carefully towards the front panel until the metal catches on the front side of the service cover connect with the front panel’s internal plate.
