Introduction The batteries feature built-in D-Tap outputs (12V) and a replaceable Output Unit Release Slider USB output unit (5V 2A) that can be swapped for Lemo, Hirose or D-Tap output units, already available for the Gold Mount PowerHub. In the short term, batteries can be left safely stacked on a charger until they are required. The charger will only top-up the battery when it sees that it can accept more charge.

This has a dual benefit of making the batteries easier to service locally, and allowing authorised replacement of modules, including the cell-pack, whilst maintaining compliance with UN standards and IATA regulations for flight safety.
