Introduction Output Unit The MPL50G has a built-in D-Tap output (12V) and a replaceable USB Release Slider output unit (5V 2A) that can be swapped for Lemo, Hirose or D-Tap output units, already available for the Gold Mount PowerHub.   • Page 10 4. Discharging When the battery has been discharged at a high rate it will become warm, and it is advisable to let it cool before charging. When not in use, batteries should be kept in an unlinked state to ensure a lower self-discharge rate.

    5. Storage For the short term, MPL50G batteries can be left stacked on a charger until required; the charger will keep them topped-up ready for use. For long-term storage, batteries should be in a half-charged state (between 20% and 80%), and not linked. After a long period of inactivity, an MPL50G battery will auto- matically enter Ship Mode, which greatly reduces its rate of self- discharge.
