5. Storage For the short term, MPL50G batteries can be left stacked on a charger until required; the charger will keep them topped-up ready for use. For long-term storage, batteries should be in a half-charged state (between 20% and 80%), and not linked. After a long period of inactivity, an MPL50G battery will auto- matically enter Ship Mode, which greatly reduces its rate of self- discharge. -
