General Safety Information
21. Make sure that the battery charger power sockets are connected to an
efficient earthing system and that they are protected by magneto thermal
and differential circuit breakers.
22. Follow the battery manufacturer's instructions and comply with safety
instructions and legal provisions. The batteries should always be clean

and dry to avoid surface leakage currents.

CAUTION: The battery used in this device may present a risk of fire or
chemical burn if mistreated. Do not disassemble or heat above manufacturer's
maximum temperature limit (60° C/140°F) or incinerate. Replace battery with
Vax battery only. Use of another battery may present a risk of fire or explosion.
Dispose of used battery promptly. Keep away from children. Do not disassemble
and do not dispose of in fire. Do not attempt to disassemble the battery or
remove any component projecting from the battery terminals. The battery and
charger have no user serviceable parts. Fire or injury may result.
Prior to disposal, protect exposed terminals with heavy insulating tape to
prevent shorting.
23. Use only the battery (Vax part no. BH03120UK) supplied by Vax.
Other batteries may burst causing serious personal injury or damage.
24. Protect the batteries against impurities, such as metallic dust.
25. Do not place tools on top of the batteries: they may cause a short-circuit
or an explosion.
26. Only clean the machine in accordance with this user guide.
27. Recovered fluids contain detergents, disinfectants and water, as well as
organic and inorganic material collected during work should be dispose

of them in accordance with current legal provisions.

IMPORTANT: Remove the battery from the appliance before recycling.
