CAUTION! Follow the operating instructions that are supplied with
appliances that are connected to the auxility outlet. Do not exceed
the rated output of the auxiliary outlet.
MAINTENANCE, CLEANING AND REPAIR
Always pull out the mains plug before cleaning and maintenance of
the vacuum cleaner.
Only carry out maintenance work described in the operating
instructions.
If suction performance drops:: Switching on the vacuum cleaner.
Close the nozzles or suction hose opening with the palm of your
hand. Press the button to start filter cleaning three times. The
resulting stream of air removes attached dust from the slats of the
filter elements.
The ventilation slots of the machine must be kept clear at all times.
Clean dust and debris from tool. Keep tool handles clean, dry and
free of oil or grease. Use only mild soap and a damp cloth to clean
the tool since certain cleaning agents and solvents are harmful
to plastics and other insulated parts. Never use flammable or
combustible solvents around tools.

Never spray water on to the upper section of the vacuum cleaner.
Danger for persons, risk or short-circuiting.
Before use check machine, cable, and plug for any damages or
material fatigue. Repairs should only be carried out by authorised
Service Agents.
Use only AEG accessories and spare parts. Should components need
to be replaced which have not been described, please contact one of
our AEG service agents (see our list of guarantee/service addresses).
If needed, an exploded view of the tool can be ordered. Please
state the Article No. as well as the machine type printed on the
label and order the drawing at your local service agents or directly
at: Techtronic Industries GmbH, Max-Eyth-Straße 10, 71364 Win-
nenden, Germany.
Storage: The appliance must be stored in a dry place and protected
from frost.
• For user servicing, the machine must be dismantled, cleaned and
serviced, as far as is reasonably practicable, without causing risk to
the maintenance staff and others.
• Suitable precautions include decontamination before dismant-
ling, provision for local filtered exhaust ventilation where the
machine is dismantled, cleaning of the maintenance area and
suitable personal protection.
