Location Information to others. You should use caution when determining
whether or not Location Information should be made available to others and you
should review any applicable third party privacy policies before providing access.
► From the Apps launcher, tap Settings > Location.
Use location
Tap the ON/OFF icon to turn location on or off.
Recent location requests
Shows the list of apps which have recently requested access to your location information.
App permission
You can choose whether to give your installed apps permission to access your location
information.
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth scanning
Lets you improve location by allowing system apps and services to detect Wi-Fi networks or
Bluetooth devices at any time.
Accelerated Location
Lets you improve location performance by sending location data.

Emergency Location Service

Activating this feature, your device uses Emergency Location Service (ELS) to automatically
send its location to emergency responders when you call or text an emergency number.
You can also access other Google Location menus such as Google Location Accuracy,
Google Location History, and Google Location Sharing.

Security

The security settings menus let you set encryption options, password visibility, administrator
settings, and credential storage options.
► From the Apps launcher, tap Settings > Security.

Security status

Shows you the status of your security apps.

Screen lock

Allows you to lock your phone's screen and enhance the security feature through various
options.
► From the Apps launcher, tap Settings > Security > Screen lock.
