Wire for Power

Use the following steps to wire the BSU II for power:
1. Connect a –48VDC power lead and a GND lead to the corresponding terminals of the 2-position barrier plug
— see Figure 6.2.
2. All barrier screws should be seated firmly but not over-tightened so as to nick the bare wire.
3. Push the plugs firmly back into their appropriate location on the bottom of the case.
4. Once the hardware connections are complete, power the unit(s) by applying -48VDC to the power lead.
Note: Always observe electrostatic discharge (ESD) precautions.
