  • Page 2 Using the Quick-Release Plate Before you attach your camera to the pistol grip ball head, make sure the head is secured to the tripod with the 3/8-inch socket. The maximum load capacity is 6.6 pounds (3 kg). Flip the lock out, and remove the quick-release plate.
  • Page 3 Adjusting the Ball Head Angle Squeeze and hold the trigger release. Tilt your camera to the preferred angle. You can use the 90° notch to change from shooting horizontally to vertically and also rotate the ball joint if needed. (Fig. C) Figure C Release the trigger to secure your camera’s position.
