Functions Thanks to a mechanically powered disc indi- cating the 24 time zones of the international GMT system, your Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Geographic WT watch features a display of multiple parts that indicate: - The time (in hours, minutes and seconds) and date where you live, i.e.

- Set the local time and the reference time depending on the position the crown is in (with the time in the 24 time zones and in the small dial of the favoured time zone automatically changing as a result). - Synchronise the local time with the time of all the time zones.

STARTING AND WINDING Crown A in position 0. A few clockwise turns of the crown are enough to start your watch. It will then automatically wind up when you wear it. Please note that the crown does not lock when winding, even when the watch is fully wound.

SETTING THE HOUR, MINUTES, AND SECONDS (LOCAL TIME) Pull Crown A out to position 2. The movement is then locked (“stop seconds” function). For an exact setting, position the seconds hand at 12 o’clock. Move the hands clockwise to the desired time, by passing 12 o’clock.

Pre-setting: synchronising the reference time with the mechanism of the multiple time zones Reading the universal time and the favoured time zone requires pre-setting that consists of determining a reference time for the mechanism. This step needs to be carried out only once, as long as the reference time zone remains unchanged.
