    LeCoultre have lavished on building and assembling your watch, its accuracy is subject to the infl uence of gravity, magnetic fi elds, impacts, as well as ageing of the oils. The precision of a watch is measured by its regularity of rate in various positions.
  • Page 4: 1000 Hours Control" Test

    You may use your watch during short swims, and when jumping in from the edge of a swimming pool, but not from a diving board. Your watch must not be used for scuba diving, nor for sports involving signifi cant risk of impact, such as windsurfi ng or water-skiing.

    You must not make any adjust- ments or set the time in this position, since this might damage the gaskets.

    Technical specifi cations - Automatic movement, Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 757. - 28,800 vibrations/hour. - Power reserve: approximately 65 hours. - Crown with compression key.
  • Page 7 Crown A will then be in position 1. A few clockwise turns of the crown will suffice to start the watch. It will then automatically wind up when you wear it. Please note that the crown does not lock on winding, even when the watch is fully wound.

    12 o’clock. Move the hand forward to the desired time, taking into account the day/night indicator. Once the operation is complete, push the crown back into position 1. The watch will start running again. Then turn the compression key to the “closed” position in the direction of the arrows.
  • Page 9 To enable use of the chronograph functions, move the push-pieces into the “open” position by turning the wing-nuts a quarter-turn downward. The non- compressed gasket position (“open”) will be indicated by an arrow (front view of watch). Timing - The chronograph is activated by pressing the push-piece at 2 o’clock once.

Adjusting the clasp The clasp on metal bracelets and articulated rubber straps is fi tted with an ad- justment system enabling you to lengthen or shorten your wristlet by 4 mm on either side, for greater wearer comfort.
