14. Install the 2 screws securing the controller cover to the battery container skirt.
Torque the screws to 1.1-1.7 N • m (10-15 in-lb).
15. Install the chute control rod.
When removing or installing the battery, do not allow the battery
terminals to touch any metal parts of the machine. Do not allow
metal tools to short between the battery terminals and metal parts
of the machine.
16. Install the battery into the machine.
1. Park the machine on a level surface and wait for all moving parts to stop.

2. Lift the battery cover and remove the battery from the machine.
3. Remove the chute gear.
4. Remove the 4 screws securing the rear chute to the housing.
