Keep the appliance and its power cord out of reach of children under 8 years of age.
Keep your children safe: do not leave any parts of the packaging readily accessible
(i.e. plastic bags, cardboard boxes, polystyrene inserts, etc.).
• WARNING! Never let children play with plastic film or bags. Choking/asphyxiation hazard!
WATER
Do not immerse appliance in water or supply cord in water.
Do not use with wet hands or use in damp situations.
USE AND ENVIRONMENT
Do not use outdoors. Do not use directly below a socket
outlet. This appliance is not intended to be operated by means
of an external timer or separate remote-control system. This
appliance is designed exclusively for private, domestic use and
is not suitable for commercial or industrial use. Do not use this
appliance for anything other than its intended use. Only use the
appliance on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface.
INJURY PRECAUTION
WARNING: Potential injury from misuse! Avoid
contact with all moving parts. Switch off the ap-
pliance and disconnect from supply before chan-
ging accessories or approaching parts that move
in use.
DAMAGED OR DROPPED
Always inspect your appliance before use. Check parts are
correctly attached. Do not use this appliance if it has been
damaged, dropped, left outdoors or dropped in water. Return
it to an authorised service dealer for examination and repair.
BEFORE FIRST USE
Carefully wipe the exterior of the appliance to remove any dust
that may have accumulated. Dry with a dry towel. Do not use
harsh abrasive cleaners. Remove any label or stickers. Wash
the accessories in warm soapy water, dry with a dry towel.
Do not immerse the supply cord or motor part of this appliance
in water or any other liquids.
This appliance has a built-in safety lock; this feature ensures that
you can only switch on the appliance if you have assembled the
juicer correctly on the motor unit. When assembled correctly,
the built-in safety lock will be unlocked.

GETTING TO KNOW YOUR SLOW JUICER
Before using your new appliance for the first time, it is most
important that you read and follow the instructions in this
booklet, even if you feel you are quite familiar with this type
of appliance.
For future reference find a safe place to keep this booklet
handy. Attention is particularly drawn to the section "Important
Safeguards".
This appliance has been designed to operate from a standard
domestic power outlet. It is not intended for industrial
or commercial use.
BEFORE FIRST USE

Wash the juicing bowl, strainer, strainer holder, auger, food
pusher, juice cup and pulp cup in warm soapy water with a soft
cloth or nylon brush. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
Note: These parts are not dishwasher safe.

Assembling the Juicer

1. P lace the motor base on a flat dry surface such as
a counter-top.
2. U nderneath the juice bowl is the pulp extraction silicon,
which is used to remove the pulp from the spout of the
