IMPLEMENTING THE LD4 CARD INTO THE MAIN CABINET

4.3.3
The LD4 card can only be installed in the main cabinet.
Depending on the type of radio base stations used, three variants of LD4 cards should be
considered:
MAIN CABINET
Variant A cards (no ADPCM daughter card) can be fitted in slots: 0-0 to 0-5 and 1-0 to
1-4.
Variant B cards (one ADPCM daughter card) can only be fitted in slots 0-0, 0-2, 0-4, 1-0,
1-2 and 1-4.
Variant C cards (two ADPCM daughter cards). The LD4 card uses time slots assigned to
two card slots. This means that no adjacent slot can be fitted (except data cards - CA1 and
CS1 - and 32-TS cards - LT2, LS2, CC1).
For configuration B, an LD4 card installed in slot n partially uses the times slots allocated to
the second card slot, therefore inhibiting slot n+1 for double density cards. However, "single
density" cards (LA4, LN4, etc.) can be fitted provided the ADPCM card is fitted for
channels 2 and 3.
Note:
The maximum number of DECT radio base stations that can be connected
depends on the PBX power supply capacity. Please refer to the configurator tool.
