PRELIMINARY CHECKS
BEFORE PROGRAMMING THE INTEGRATED DECT SERVICE

Check all pairs for electrical continuity and matching (3 pairs if synchronization is
"third pair" type).

Check that the S0 interface cards are installed and configured correctly: carefully
check the position of the configuration switches on all DECT cards.

PUTTING THE DECT SYSTEM IN SERVICE USING THE PROGRAMMING

2.5.1
PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS

Back up the customer configuration data.
♦
Check that there is a PARI number for each mobile to be declared.
Note:
If the system is already programmed for CT2, you must delete all CT2
programming before programming the DECT system.

MAIN PROGRAMMING TASKS
This section outlines the main programming tasks for the DECT integrated service for all
PBX ranges (F1, F2, F3, and F4).
The user interface (MMC) will vary according to the product range. For programming
details, refer to the sections for each product range.

Note:
For a system upgrade from release 8.6 to 11.3:
Create and start up TELBOR server (mandatory) and assign number 19 in the
corresponding MMC
Create the INTERNAL routing and in the MMC ROUTES assign number 9 and
define the additional prefix codes for multi-site configuration.
