1) LAS card: you must declare an external access on ADP or ADQ for the 40 V remote
power supply.
2) Where the number of radio base stations in a system slightly exceeds the maximum
number specified, the one or two excess radio base stations may be powered locally
using an additional PN840B power pack.
3) To operate 4-channel radio base stations, the LDSA or LDSB cards must be fitted with
ADPCM daughter cards.
4) 4-channel radio base stations are connected to LDS cards. To operate 4-channel base
stations, ADPCM daughter cards must be installed on the LDS cards (8 daughter cards
maximum per LDS card).
LDS cards without an ADPCM card operate on two channels.
