INSTALLING ThE SWIVEL hEAD/BOOM END

a. Next install the Boom End (Item #38) on the end of
the Boom. Take the Boom End and find the mounting
hole along the shaft. For Magnum 5 downriggers,
the Boom End will be inserted into the end of the
Boom with the Boom Adapter. For Magnum 10
downriggers, the Boom End will go into the Narrow
End of the Telescopic Boom. Make sure the holes in
all pieces are aligned.
b. Once aligned, take the #8-18 X 5/8" Screw (Item
#28) and insert it into the end of the Boom
Assembly. Secure the screw with a Phillips Head
screwdriver by turning clockwise.
