AUTO IMMOBILIZER
- Product description:
IMB-3 is a high security level vehicle protection system with an anti-theft function for both
parked and moving vehicles. A vehicle equipped with this immobilizer can only be used if the
personal transceiver (TAG) is within range, either inside the vehicle or no further than 2 m
away. If the engine is switched on without the TAG, after 10sec the system will warn the
driver by buzzer for 10sec (the first 5sec with intermittent 1-beep sound, and 5sec with
intermittent 2-beep sound). After, if the system detects a car movement again it will be
(engine blocked) for 10sec. The next time you start the engine without the TAG in around
5sec. You will hear intermittent 2-beep sound for 20sec.

Disarm mode:
If you turn the ignition on and the TAG is located in the range, the established relation
between main unit and TAG will be confirm by a melody sound.
The first (internal) blocking algorithm is described below:
-Using the product
If you wish to drive, the IMB-3 immobilizer TAG must be located inside the vehicle. The
system will allow you to start the engine without the TAG, but the engine will be immobilized
each time you make the ignition.
After the engine's immobilization, the system allows you to start the engine again by turning
off and on the ignition. Moreover, each attempt to drive, the engine will be immobilized again
until the TAG is place in the range or the personal emergency disabling code (PIN code) is
used.
- Anti-theft function
.The anti-theft function will automatically proceed when the TAG is located out of the range
with the ignition switched on. For the first 35 seconds, the system will continue to wait for a
signal from the TAG. Then, the driver will be warned 20sec with the intermittent beep sound
(in the first 10sec with 1-short beep continuing with 10sec by 2-short beep). Then the
system will be immobilized for 10sec (engine blocked). Furthermore, if the system detects
any movement again in the car, it will be immobilized for 10sec. If you turn the ignition off
and on again you will hear 2-beep intermittent sound for 20sec and it will be immobilized for
10sec if the system detect any movement of the car.
The second (external) blocking circuit algorithm is very simple: there is no TAG - the
external relay blocks the starter:

- Emergency system disabling / Programming mode:
To use the vehicle without a TAG you will require a special PIN code consisting of two
digits (for example, 1 & 2).The manufacturer will provide you a card with the PIN
code. The system is already coded with 1,2 (default setting).
(1) Turn on and off the ignition for 5 times and stay in off position;
(2) Wait until 2-beep sound emits inside the vehicle;
(3) Turn on the ignition and prepare to enter the PIN code. Then, the warning
signals beeps will start to sound, and you should count them. In this example, wait for
the first (1st) beep, when it sound turn off the ignition. (In this example, the first digit
"1" of the PIN code has been entered);
(4) Turn on the ignition and proceed to count the warning signals beeps until the
number aligns with the second digit of the PIN code (e.g. 2), then turn off the ignition.
(In this example, the second digit "2" of the PIN code has been entered);
(5) Wait until you hear a melody sound inside of the vehicle. The system now is in
programming mode and disarmed;
Note:
- If you make a mistake while entering the PIN code will sound a 4-short beep, and you
will have to repeat the procedure from step 1 entering the new PIN code.
- Within 20sec without any ignition activation the system will auto exit the mode and
you will hear 2-long and 2-short beep sound.

- Follow the step 5 turning on the ignition and you will hear 2-long and 2-short beep.
The system will allows you to start the engine without a TAG.
- The next time you want start engine without a TAG, it will be require the PIN code
again.
<< Valet mode - follow the step 5 >>
- Follow the step 5 turning on and off the ignition only 1 time and stay in off position;
- After 3sec you will hear 1-long beep sound. The system is indicating the entrance to
a Valet Mode.
- In a Valet Mode, each time the ignition is turned on, you will hear 2-short beep
sound notifying that the Valet Mode has being activated. Remember that in this mode
the vehicle will not be immobilize without the TAG.
- To exit the Valet Mode, you should turn on and off the ignition 5 times and stay in off
position. Then, you will hear 2-long and 2-short beep indicating that the system is
going out of the Valet Mode.

- Follow the step 5 turning on and off the ignition 3 times and stay in off position;
- After 3sec you will hear 2-long beep sound. The system is indicating that he is
ready to set a new PIN code;
