    TRUST 960 POWERC@M CCD STANDARD CAMERA OPERATION The following chapters explain how to take a photograph, how to view the photograph on the camera and how to save the photograph on a computer. Taking photographs Open the lens protector (9, figure 2) using the slide next to the lens (8, figure Slide the On/Off switch (2, figure 4) to the right and keep it in that position for 1 second.

    TRUST 960 POWERC@M CCD Stand The stand supplied with the camera can be used to keep the camera stable. It is recommended to use the stand when using the automatic exposure function or when using the macro setting. Screw the stand into place on the bottom of the camera (2, figure 3).

    TRUST 960 POWERC@M CCD 10.2 Using the macro function (close-up photographs) The Trust 960 PowerC@m CCD has a macro function which can be used to take photographs at a minimum distance of 20 cm. Selecting the macro mode: Slide the macro button (5, figure 2) upwards or downwards (see table 8 for an explanation).

This will make darker objects lighter or objects which are brightly lit less bright.

    TRUST 960 POWERC@M CCD 12.2 Menu settings The following settings can be altered in the menu when the camera is in the ‘Playback’ mode: Delete, Slide show and Protect. Set the camera to the ‘Playback’ mode. Press the ‘Menu’ button.

    TRUST 960 POWERC@M CCD Select ‘Yes’ to format the memory. Select ‘No’ to cancel the formatting. Note: All the photographs and video clips will be deleted when the memory is formatted, included the photographs and video clips protected against being deleted.

    Table 13: Settings Inserting/removing a memory card The Trust 960 PowerC@m CCD has a 16 MB internal memory. By default, photographs and video clips are saved in the internal memory. This memory can be increased by using a SD (Secure Digital) memory card. The photographs and video clips are automatically saved on the memory card when one has been inserted into the camera.

    TRUST 960 POWERC@M CCD Remove the memory card by pushing it so that the lock is released. Remove the memory card from the camera Close the battery cover. Note: The memory card can only be inserted into the camera in one way. Do not force the card into the slot.

    Click on ‘Upload’. Enter your e-mail address and the password for your Trust registration (not the password for your e-mail account). Click on ‘Next’. Your login information will be checked. This may take some time.
