Loop Flushing Shuttle Valve Replacement

(1) Remove the hex plugs from both sides of the
end cap (Fig. 17).

(2) Remove springs and spring seats. Note the
orientation of the washers. Remove flushing
valve spool (Fig.18).

(3) Inspect parts (Fig. 19) for damage or foreign
material, clean or replace as necessary.

(4) Install flushing valve spool in end cap (Fig.
20). Install the spring seat washers on each
end of the spool. The step on the spring seat
washers should face out toward the springs.

(5) Install the spool springs and hex plugs in
both sides of end cap (Fig. 21). Torque the
plugs to 30 ft. lbs (41 Nm).
