The memory socket is mounted flush with the
RAID controller. The iTBBU03 is parallel to the
RAID controller when properly installed.

Step 6
Press the iTBBU03 firmly into the memory
socket.
As you press the iTBBU03 into the socket, it
clicks into place when it is properly seated in the
socket. The arms on the sides of the socket
rotate into the notches on the sides of the
iTBBU03 to hold it securely in place.
Step 7
Install the MegaRAID SAS 8888ELP RAID
controller in the computer, as shown in
Press down gently, but firmly, to ensure that the
RAID controller is properly seated in the slot. The
bottom edge of the RAID controller must be flush
with the slot.
Caution:
Never apply pressure to the LSIiTBBU03 or to the
DIMM when inserting the SAS 8888ELP RAID
controller. Instead, press down only on the top
edge of the RAID controller, as shown in

RAID Controller
Attach the RAID controller to the computer
chassis with the bracket screw.
Attach the cables, as needed, to the connectors
on the RAID controller.
Replace the computer cover, and reattach the
power cord(s).
