6. Press key ROLL and wait until the "Firmware Updating.." appears on the
screen.
The HMI-DM will reboot after the downloading is finished.
The procedure of upgrading firmware over SCOPE Tool is as below:
1. Copy the POL12289.bin file to your PC Desktop.
2. Start the SCOPE Tool.
3. Connect HMI-DM a running controller over RJ45 port.
In order to have enough power supply, HMI-DM must be also connected to a
running controller.
4. Connect HMI-DM to your PC over USB tool interface port.
In SCOPE Tool select Menu  Advance  Former BSP loader  set

followings:
• Target: Climatix
• Folder: destination of *.bin file (e.g. Desktop)
• OS-File: POL12289.bin
• Press Load button
6. On Communication Setting set followings:
• Target: POL895
• Communication: USB
7. On Loader control menu, click Load button. Firmware is updating.
The HMI-DM will reboot after the downloading is finished.
If HMI-DM is not recognized by SCOPE tool, verify connection between HMI-DM
and running controller. Connect USB cable to a USB 2.0 port or USB 2.0 hub.
USB 3.0 is supported by firmware V10.32B00YY or higher.
While HMI-DM is upgrading firmware, INFO LED flashes red and green every
second. If any error is detected during the process, INFO LED lights red. In this
case, please restart the HMI-DM. If there is nothing displayed on the screen,
please return it to factory for check.
When the firmware of HMI-DM has been upgraded successfully, INFO LED is
green. If there is no operation within 15 seconds, HMI-DM restarts and enter the
home page.
