Inserting the Paper
T77F/T77T Paper Roll - Insert the paper roll
and dowel in the basket so the paper feeds
from under the roll, not over the top, and
has a straight-line path into the printer
paper-feed mechanism. Feed the paper
evenly into the paper-feed slot at the rear of
the T77 while pressing the PAPER FEED*
key. After the feed mechanism begins to
operate, the paper appears at the top of the
tear guide. Release the PAPER FEED key.
Press the key sequence Function, 8, 2,
Enter to perform a printer test. The printer
is now ready to print receipts.
T77S Sprocket Paper - Hold the bundle of
receipt paper so the first receipt is right-side
up with the printed text facing you. Place
the bundle in the paper holder. Pull the
paper guide toward you and insert the first
receipt face-downward into the slot
between the paper holder and the paper
guide. Press the PAPER FEED* key. After
Release Lever
the feed mechanism begins to operate, the
paper appears at the tear guide. Release the
Tear Guide
PAPER FEED key. Use the paper release
lever to align the top of the colored portion
of the receipt to the top of the tear guide,
then push the paper guide back into
position. Press the key sequence Function,
8, 2, Enter to perform a printer test. The
printer is now ready to print receipts.
* For the T77GQ terminals, with
the
keyboard, press CTRL
QWERTY
and Space Bar.
