Connect the sampling end of the TD
tube to a suitable flow-measuring
device, e.g. digital flowmeter (part no.
C-FLMTR
).
■
Turn on the flowmeter and the pump,
and adjust the flow on the ACTI-VOC
using the flat-bladed screwdriver
provided with the ACTI-VOC (Figure 3).
When the desired flow rate has been
■
reached, turn off the pump and
flowmeter, and remove the sorbent tube
used for calibration from the adapter.
The pump is now ready for sampling.
