- Page 6 Assembling your Mini Spit Roast Step 1 Fit legs to sides of firebox using M6 x 12mm long black screws. Step 2 Place the cast iron grate into the firebox, it is held up off the bottom by the lower set of indentations in the side walls of the firebox.
