Terrace heater, Halogen 600 W
Read this manual carefully before using the product for the first time. Keep the manual for
future reference. If you have any technical problems with the terrace heater, contact our
Customer Services.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• The terrace heater is intended for household and outdoor use only.
• Connect only to a grounded outlet.
• There must be at least 50 cm of free space above the terrace heater and at
least 100 cm of free space at the side of the terrace heater.
• The terrace heater must be installed at least 180 cm above the floor, measu-
red from the underside of the terrace heater.
• Handle the terrace heater with care. It must not vibrate and must hang steady.
• The heating element of the terrace heater becomes hot when the terrace hea-
ter is switched on and remains so for a while after switching off. Do not touch
the heating element! Remove the power plug from the socket and wait until
the heating element has cooled down before touching it.
• WARNING: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
• Due to the risk of fire, do not fit or place the terrace heater close to flammable
objects, such as curtains. Make sure that no combustible material – such as
curtains, tents, flags, cling film, etc. – covers or interferes with the appliance as
a result of wind or other environmental effects.
• Do not wrap the power cable around the terrace heater.
• All repairs must be carried out by an authorised service workshop.
• Do not allow children to play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance
must not be carried out by children unless under supervision.
• Do not place the terrace heater below or close to the electrical socket.
• Do not use timers, programmers or any other equipment that automatically
switches on the terrace heater. There is a risk of fire if the terrace heater is
covered or in the wrong place.
• Do not use this heater in immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a
swimming pool.
