Step 7: Remove the CD-ROM cage.
Remove the CD-ROM cage by sliding it backwards.
Step 8: Hard Drive
Turn the cage over.
- look for a mark under the cage, this will show the position of the
hard drive.
- Secure the Hard Drive into the cage with screw.
- Connect the 40-pin IDE Cable from the Hard Drive into MS-5942
primary IDE connector. Pin 1 is indicated by a red mark on the
cable.
- Insert the 4-pin power connector from the power supply into the
hard drive power socket.
