Quick Links

The Storm-Proof Crop Cage is built to last. It has a sturdy aluminum frame that uses slot & lock connectors to secure together and
3-way braces in the corners for extra stability. The Storm-Proof Clips used to hold the net are designed to protect both the frame
and your crops during bad weather.
Parts List
(4) 6'5" Upright Poles
(2) 4'9" Width Poles
(2) 8'1" Length Poles
(4) 3-Way Connectors
(12) Brace Mounts
How the Storm-Proof Clips Work
In a storm or high winds, the Storm-Proof Clips detach from the frame,
falling to the ground with the netting. This prevents the framework from
being damaged by the netting twisting and pulling on it, while still allowing
the netting to protect your plants.
Step 1. Identify and organize all the parts in an open area near the spot you
want to place the cage.
Step 2. To put together the frame, take one of each type of pole: Upright,
Width and Length. Slide a Brace Mount onto the end of each pole, as
shown in Figure 2. Insert the Upright Pole directly into the ball of the
3-Way Connector, and then insert the other two poles into the side tubes.
Tighten the locking screws on the 3-Way Connector. Loosely tighten the
locking screws on the Brace Mounts, just enough to hold them in place
while still allowing you to slide them along the poles.
Step 3. Slide a Brace Stay into the slots on two of the Brace Mounts, connecting them (Figure 3). Line up the holes on the Brace
Stay with those on the mounts. Insert bolts from the inside of the corner, as shown, and loosely attach a nut to the end of
each bolt. (The nuts should be on the outside of the cage.) Repeat with two more Brace Stays, so that the corner resembles
Figure 4. Tighten all nuts and locking screws on the Brace Mounts.
Step 4. Repeat Steps 2 and 3 to create the other three corners.
Step 5. Stand the frame upright and place it in your selected spot. Push the Upright Poles 8" into the ground, depending on your
soil type. If soil is compacted, create a hole first and then insert the upright.
